Terms & Conditions

Cash 4 Clothes Ediltex (‘we’) purchases clothes, paired shoes, bags, soft toys, belts, perfumes, jewellery, bedding, curtains, duvets, pillows, rugs, plastic toys, bric-a –brac, small electrical appliances (up to a size of a microwave) for cash. Please note all our customers (‘you’) must be at least 18 years of age.
We don’t accept items listed below:
- Socks;
- Tights;
- Underwear;
- School/ work uniforms with school/company logo;
- glass, metal, wood;
- Vintage/old-fashioned clothing;
- Traditional clothing/folk costumes;
- Any items listed in clause 1 if they do not meet our quality standards.
The items that we buy must meet the following quality standards, namely they must be:
- Every day clothes (we don’t accept work/school uniforms, aprons)
- Clean;
- Dry;
- Undamaged;
- Not stained or soiled in any way;
- Not ripped;
- Not completely worn;
- Not smelly or covered in pet hair.
After checking your (customer’s) items we will quote and ask you to sign in a registry book/receipt.
All our customers have a right to receive a receipt slip.
All our customers have a right to refuse selling their items.
As a customer you must ensure that all items you want to sell are bagged or boxed and that they meet the quality standards described in clause 3.
You agree that our decision on which of the items that you sell to us does or does not meet our quality criteria (clauses 1-3) for acceptance will be final.
Our staff reserves a right to refuse to accept (pay cash for) any unsuitable items.
We reserve a right to refuse to accept any items from companies, groups & organisations like charities, shops, churches, schools, carboot sellers, house clearance companies etc.
We do not take responsibility for the bags left outside of our depot.
Your bags do not need to weigh 10 kg exactly. The weight of your bags will be put together and you will be paid accordingly.
We use only inspected and approved business scales.
During the process customer must check the weights of their items and the cash paid out on the spot. We will not accept any claims after you have left the depot.
We pay cash only.
You are free to spend the funds raised from your items whichever way you like. There is no obligation to donate a part or all of it to charitable organizations.
